Oh hey remember that time I took three weeks off of blogging? Whoops! Totally didn't mean to but life sometimes interferes and well, I can't change it now right?
Anyway here's some updates:
- I finished "The Cuckoo's Calling" by Robert Galbraith aka J.K. Rowling. If you haven't picked up a copy yet go grab one right now! I thought it was one of the best books I've read lately and can't wait to see what happens next for Cormoran Strike and Robin. 
- Been baking and cooking up a storm lately, here's some of my recent dishes:

- I've been spending a lot of time out in the sunshine enjoying Summer before it winds down, can't believe Fall is just around the corner!

Hoping... once again that Jay's work schedule slows down (poor kid has worked over 120 hours in the last two weeks :/ )

Three Wishes

Today's prompt for the North East Bloggers Network blogging challenge is: If you had three wishes what would they be and why?

1)To figure out what my dream career is and pursue it. I'm kind of fumbling with what I'd like to do when I "grow up". Guess I'm really trying to find a sense of direction.
2) To have a happy, successful, financially secure and comfortable future with Jay 
3) Unlimited wishes! Because wouldn't we all wish for that if given the chance?

A: Attached or Single? Dating Jay, he's great and such a perfect match for me. I'm so lucky!

B: Best Friend? Christina and Jay (yes, your boyfriend is allowed to be your best friend too)

C: Cake or pie? Pie. I'm really not a fan of cake, something to do with the texture I think.

D: Day of choice? Sunday 

E: Essential item? Longchamp bag...fits everything you need (with plenty of room for things you don't!) and manages to go with whatever you're wearing

F: Favorite color? Yellow! I love how cheerful and welcoming but still mellow it is (am I reading to much into a color? probably)

H: Hometown? Buzzards Bay, MA

I: Favorite indulgence? French fries are my downfall. Or for a chocolate indulgence...oreo truffles yummm.

J: January or July? July! It's my birthday month so how could I not pick it really.
